Palo Santo, white sage, and copal are all used as incense to alleviate negative energy. As you burn the blend speak your prayers and proclamations into the smoke and envision positivity and abundance surrounding you. They are all also mood enhancing incense so take a deep breath , indulge and enjoy the benefits it has to offer.

Evidence points to the use of incense for religious purposes in ancient Egypt, Africa, the Americas, China, India and the Middle East. If you follow the bible, the altar of incense is first mentioned in Exodus chapter 30 as one of the items inside the Holy Place of the tabernacle whereby Aaron was instructed to burn incense on the altar each morning and at twilight, every day, as a regular offering to the Lord (Exodus 30:7–8).

This blend is an amazing addition that warms your home. With a sweet woody aroma the palo santo and copal notes will make you want to add this to your daily regimen. Whether used for spiritual purposes or to simply elevate the mood in your home, the aromatic benefits are unanimously and universally recognized as the best.

Our Palo santo is ethically sourced from already fallen trees. Resins are pure ground sap and sage added to the blend makes this the perfect loose burning powder, resin, & incense smudging blend.

Just light a charcoal disc and place in censar, incense burner, or a heat safe platform (i.e. marble, stone, etc). Incense burner sand can be added to the bottom of the container so minimal charring occurs.

If it's self-igniting charcoal (contains potassium nitrate) you will see tiny sparks as you light it and it will ignite quickly so never hold it in your hand! If you need to hold the charcoal over an open flame to ignite it, use tweezers or tongs to hold it.

If your charcoal tablet has a concave indentation on one side place it in your burner with the hollow facing up. Use the "bowl" to hold your incense ingredients.

Wait until the charcoal is glowing red hot and is covered with grayish-white ash. This could take about 5 minutes or so. If you like you can fan or blow on the charcoal to help get the whole tablet started.

When ready sprinkle a pinch or two (about 1/4 -1/2 teaspoon) of incense (e.g. resin, dried herbs, etc.) directly on top of the hot charcoal. The incense will begin to smolder. Be careful not to place too much incense on the charcoal or you may smother it and you'll have to start over.

When the smoke begins to thin out, add more incense. The charcoal will stay hot enough to burn incense for about 45 minutes to an hour.
